Accessibility

This site is built for people on Medicare and their families. Many of our visitors read on a phone. Many use larger text, a screen reader, or a keyboard instead of a mouse. The site is designed for them first, not adapted for them later.

Our target

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2, level AA, across the whole site.

What that looks like here

• Large text everywhere, and the layout keeps working when you make it larger.
• Strong color contrast throughout.
• Everything can be reached and used with a keyboard alone.
• No time limits. The form never times out, nothing advances on its own, and nothing on this site asks you to hurry.
• Labels on every field, and error messages that say exactly what to fix.

About the form

The request form needs JavaScript to run. If your browser does not run JavaScript, the form will not load, and we do not leave you at a dead end. The page tells you what happened, and you can email us instead at hello@askdoodle.org. Email gets you the same call from the same licensed agent.
