Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 4, 2026. This version adds advertising cookies and pixels, and the recorded-call Scope of Appointment that starts October 1, 2026.
This policy covers askdoodle.org, which is run by Wild West Labs, Inc. d/b/a Doodle. Wild West Labs, Inc. owns Doodle Insurance Services, LLC, the California-licensed insurance agency that provides insurance services through this site.
What we collect
What you type into our forms: your name, phone number, and email address; your ZIP code and county; your Medicare situation and the coverage you are interested in; and your consent, with the wording you saw, the time, and your typed signature. From October 1, 2026, we take the Scope of Appointment on the recorded call instead, so we keep that recording. For the waitlist: your email address, your state, and your ZIP code. When you submit, our server also records your IP address, your browser type, and the time. Calls with us are recorded, and we say so before each one.
We never ask for, and never collect, your Social Security number, your Medicare number, your full date of birth, or any health information.
Cookies and advertising
We count visits to our information pages with a web analytics service. It receives the page that was opened, whether you followed a link toward our form or our waitlist page, and, when you arrive from a link we shared, which link that was. It gets nothing you type, sets no cookie, and is not on our forms.
We also use pixels, cookies, and similar technologies from third parties, including Meta, to collect or receive information from this site and elsewhere on the internet. They use that information to provide measurement services and to target and deliver ads. They do not receive what you type into our forms. You can opt out of ad targeting at aboutads.info/choices and youronlinechoices.eu. If your browser sends a "Do Not Track" or "Global Privacy Control" signal, these tools do not load and we do not count your visit.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with lead buyers, and we do not give what you tell us to anyone to market to you. We share it only in four cases: with an insurance carrier or a field marketing organization that helps process your enrollment, only as needed, if you choose to enroll in a plan; with the service providers that run our systems under contract, including the scheduling service that books the time you pick, so the site and our records can run; with the advertising and measurement services described above, which receive your IP address, a cookie code, and the pages you visit here, but nothing you typed; and when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep consent records and Scope of Appointment records for 10 years, as Medicare rules require. We keep other lead information under our written retention policy, and no longer than we need it.
Call recordings made on or after October 1, 2026 are kept for 3 years as audio and for 3 more years as a written transcript. Recordings made before that date are kept for 10 years. The part of a call where you agree to the Scope of Appointment is kept for 10 years, with the record itself.
Your rights
You can ask what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We delete everything the law allows; some records, like consent records, we must keep. Email hello@askdoodle.org.
Stopping calls and texts
You can take back your consent to calls and texts at any time. Say stop during any call, reply STOP to any text, or email hello@askdoodle.org. Any of these works; there is no special form and no single required channel. When you tell us to stop, we stop all marketing calls and texts, not just one kind, and we honor it promptly.
Changes to this policy
We post any new version on this page with a new effective date at the top.
